Honey and Mustard (Not Honey Mustard)

I don’t like honey mustard, but I love honey mixed with mustard. (Ask my husband.)

Combine cubed sweet potatoes, quartered Brussel sprouts, and chunked onions onto a sheet pan with olive oil and S&P. Throw some bacon and Italian sausages in the mix. Roast at 425 degrees for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, mix 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard with about 6 teaspoons of honey (enough to make it liquidy). Pour over the honey and mustard mixture, then roast another 15-20 minutes.

We’ll likely consider this weekly dinner the symbol of our first year of marriage. (I’ll let you know next month.)

  1. I thought all honey mustard was the same. I guess I will try your method to see the difference. Thanks for the post.

    1. It could just be me being a little crazy 🙂 Hope you enjoy it!
